How to Master 11+ Mock Exam Timing
Time management is the single greatest discriminator in competitive 11+ entrance examinations such as the GL Assessment and SEAG Transfer Test. Most papers allocate between 45 and 60 seconds per question. Under strict timed conditions, lingering on a single multi-step problem can cost students easy marks at the end of the test.
Solve confident questions in Pass 1. Flag tough questions and tackle them during Pass 2 with remaining time.
Rule out 2 obviously wrong options immediately to double your chance of guessing correctly if rushed.
11+ exams do not penalize wrong answers. Never leave any question blank on your final submission.
